Gary Tam, founder of Goodss Limited, was born in Hong Kong in 1966 (the year of Horse). Upon his sixteenth, he left Hong Kong to Canada for his studies. He graduated from Alberta College of Arts in 1989, with his major in visual communications. He also won a student scholarship to New York School of Visual Art, major in Graphics and interior design. Upon his graduation in 1991, he has worked in both New York and Canada for 2 years, and then back to Hong Kong in 1993. After being worked in various HK 4As advertising agencies and design firms, he started his first own company Teamwork Design Ltd in 1996. Working with retail brands , his works not only found in Hong Kong, with also appearing around the world like China, Asia Pacific, England, Turkey, Dubai andSydney. He also set up his manufacturing factory in China in 2000. To realize his dream, Gary decided to found Goodss last year. Design is his professional and interest. He also interests in Chinese Feng Shui philosophy by combining both interests, he created Goodss style of furnishing which bring goodlife to the peoples. |
